Save the Planet – an apt platform for waste technologies exposure in SE Europe 29-31 May 2013

Sarp _Industries_Veolia Environmental Services1Through the years the South-East European Exhibition and Conference Save the Planet established itself as an apt platform for market exploration of the Region, up-to-date technologies exposure and hot topics’ discussions.

The Organizer Via Expo is expecting the 2013 edition of Save the Planet to attract more exhibitors, visitors and delegates due to the favorable market conditions. The business, state authority and the general public in South-East Europe are increasingly aware of the benefits of recycling and waste management – less environmental pollution, new resource flows and energy saving. During the last years the countries in the Region are making a significant progress in the implementation of sustainable practices and adopting the best European regulations. The new Bulgarian Waste Management Act obliges the municipalities to build up recycling systems by 2014 which should recycle 25 % of waste and reuse 50 % of waste by 2020. From January 1st, 2013 the biodegradable waste should be collected separately at special composting sites, which are still under development. According to the experts all these regulations will open new market niches for investors.
